Russell is getting tubes put in his ears on Thursday morning. The actual procedure only takes about 10 minutes but they give them anesthesia so we will be in the hospital for about 4 hours. Usually, the procedure is done in a doctor's office but because of his heart surgery, they want the procedure to be done in the hospital.
I think we have finally solved the health problems I've been having for the last 4 years - my gallbladder. I have also had a lot of abdominal pain so I went to the ER last week. I saw a general doctor and a G.I. doctor as well. Yesterday, I had a HIDA scan where they watch a tracker go through my body and hope to see the gallbladder. Then they give meds to make it constrict. Mine isn't constricting enough (only 10%) so I'm going to a surgeon tomorrow to find out the details of gallbladder surgery.
